About ICE-ASI and ASI Wise’s Modular Programme
International Standards for Ayres’ Sensory Integration (ASI) Education
Not all terms or training pathways are the same worldwide. That’s why international experts have come together to create a shared standard for education in Ayres’ Sensory Integration through ICE-ASI (International Council for Education in Ayres Sensory Integration – www.ice-asi.org).
ASI WISE’s Directors—Amanda Adamson, Kath Smith, and Ros Urwin—have represented the UK and Ireland at international conferences since R2K LA (2010), contributing to the development of these global education standards.
Programmes that meet ICE-ASI Level 2 ensure that therapists are trained to:
Understand ASI theory, research, and evidence
Use tools like the SIPT and the developing EASI
Assess, interpret, and clinically reason for intervention across ages and settings
ASI WISE’s CLASI CASI modular programme is aligned with these standards, preparing therapists to practise Ayres’ Sensory Integration with confidence and integrity.
