#TimeToTalk
Today is “Time to Talk Day,” an initiative aimed at promoting open conversations about Mental health.
Mental health has been silenced for too long and frequently stigmatized by society unless someone personally dealt with it through a close family member or a friend.
It is time to make visible the invisible, improve understanding of mental health, and create safe spaces for people to talk about it freely so the stigma and discrimination can be reduced.

Without mental health, there is no health.

Why hide a part of health that is essential for all humans’ well-being?
Every single person is vulnerable to experiencing a mental health condition at some point in life. We all go through difficult times that make us feel down, overwhelmed, anxious or stressed. And sometimes we may not have the tools or strategies to deal with it.

Let’s spread awareness of mental health conditions by talking openly.
To break the stigma, it is necessary to invest time in educating and preventing, as well as providing tools and strategies for people to understand different conditions.
One tool that is really useful for increasing well-being from childhood to adulthood…is Sensory Ladders. This self-regulation tool provides the person with strategies to understand his/her personal states at any time and know what to do in different states to feel better.

It should be individualized for each person, depending on how the person understands his/her own states, how the person identifies them,…and also depending on his/her motivations.
Here you can watch the Sensory Ladders Webinar, so you can understand how to implement this tool in life:
