Time for a Cuppa 2025

#TimeForACuppa2025 #TeaTime #DementiaAwareness #SupportDementiaCare #CommunityTeaParty

From today, May 1st, to the 8th, Time for a Cuppa 2025 is being celebrated.

This event promotes dementia awareness by encouraging people to connect and gather over a cup of tea. It is an exceptional opportunity to connect, have conversations, share experiences, and stand in solidarity with those living with dementia and their families.

A cuppa is comforting on its own, but depending on the moment, sharing it with others can make the experience even more uplifting. And it’s even more meaningful when the cause is something that touches us all, whether directly or indirectly, through our family members, friends, neighbours or clients. Dementia affects countless lives, and sharing a moment together with family, friends or colleagues with a cup of tea can help raise both awareness and solidarity.

Would you organise a home gathering with family and friends to discuss this cause, or even a cuppa meeting at work?

Our workshops are designed to address and explore a wide range of conditions across the entire lifespan, with always space for older adults and dementia.

If you would like to learn more or find a community of practice where you can share clinical practice experiences and case studies about people with dementia. Join us in our Mental Health and Wellbeing workshop. This Workshop includes a range of resources to support self-regulation, including the use of Sensory Ladders, and explores the application of Ayres’ Sensory Integration across the life span, with an emphasis on the application and practice of Ayres’ Sensory Integration beyond childhood; with adolescents, adults and older adults – mental health and wellbeing for all.
