About Me...

I am Carine Abrahao, an occupational therapist from São Paulo, Brazil. I have been practising as an OT since 2013, specialising in sensory integration and working with neurodiverse individuals. I hold a Master’s degree in Health Sciences from UNIFESP and a postgraduate qualification in Mental Health from the Institute of Psychiatry, HCFMUSP. I also have formal training in Ayres Sensory Integration (CLASI) and several complementary certifications completed in Brazil and the UK. Since 2024, I have been living in England, where I work within the NHS and the private sector. I am registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) and a member of the Royal College of Occupational Therapists. Alongside my clinical practice, I am deeply committed to learning, research, and advancing high-quality education in occupational therapy and sensory integration, including contributing to translation projects.
