She is an Occupational Therapist, originally from Selangor, Malaysia, with 16 years of experience in paediatric practice and leadership. She currently serves as an Occupational Therapy Director, with special interests in hippotherapy and cerebral visual impairment, and is certified in the Sensory Integration and Praxis Test (SIPT). She recently completed her Master’s in Developmental Disability, where her work focused on sensory processing and visual perception in children with autism. She was involved in the Sensory Ladder translation project, contributing the Malay language version. Diyana is also dedicated to educating parents, students, and professionals about paediatric occupational therapy through workshops, digital resources, and outreach programs. Her work reflects a strong commitment to making therapy accessible and impactful for children and families.
