Olya Mangusheva is Zhytomyr, Ukraine, and is one of the first occupational therapy practitioners in Ukraine. She served as the inaugural Chair of the Ukrainian Society of Ergotherapists (occupational therapists) and the country’s first delegate to the World Federation of Occupational Therapists. For over a decade, Olya has advanced the development of ergotherapy in Ukraine through advocacy and education. Passionate about expanding access to practical, evidence-based tools for occupational therapists in Ukraine, she has contributed to multiple translation and cross-cultural adaptation projects. As a pediatric therapist, consultant, and educator currently teaching at University of Indianapolis (USA), Olya values tools like Sensory Ladders, which promote sensory well-being by helping clients better understand and manage their sensory processing challenges.
