Care Pathways

What might a different question make possible?

Where do we begin when sensory experiences are making everyday life difficult? What needs a closer look? And how do we decide the next step, together?

We are developing a collection of Care Pathways articles to explore the questions behind assessment, support and review. Each article will take a closer look at decisions within a particular clinical route, keeping sensory understanding connected to the person, their context and meaningful participation.

Care Pathways resources are included with AHP and AHP Wise+ membership. Access will be clearly shown alongside each article.

Follow your curiosity

Which question is closest to your practice?

Where should a pathway begin? When might a different assessment be needed? What would tell us that support is making everyday life more possible? These are the kinds of questions our articles will explore.

The first pathways are taking shape.

This is the starting point for the collection. Our first articles will be added here, each with a short introduction to help you decide where to explore next.

For professional learning, reflection and local pathway development. These resources do not replace individual assessment, professional judgement or local clinical procedures.
