A practical workshop on moving beyond score reporting to identify meaningful sensory patterns across home and school contexts.
Use the SP and SPM-2 more meaningfully to understand sensory patterns, participation, and planning.
This workshop focuses on using questionnaires thoughtfully rather than simply reporting scores. It explores how the SP and SPM-2 can help participants notice patterns across home and school, strengthen formulation, and support more meaningful discussion about participation, regulation, attention, movement, and relationships.
Learning outcomes
By the end of this workshop, participants will be able to:
- Describe the contribution of the SP and SPM-2 in school-based assessment and formulation
- Identify meaningful sensory patterns within and across questionnaires
- Compare home and school responses in a more nuanced and clinically useful way
- Reflect on how questionnaire findings are currently used in their own practice
- Leave better able to use questionnaire information to guide discussion, formulation, and planning
Participants will learn it through guided interpretation, discuss it with peers, apply it to patterns across home and school, reflect on current questionnaire use, and take it back into practice through stronger formulation and planning.
