16. Ayres Sensory Integration in Schools: Case Studies from Practice, including Outcome Measurement

A case-based workshop bringing together assessment, formulation, intervention planning, and outcome thinking in real school contexts.

Work through school-based case studies and explore how to evidence meaningful outcomes in practice.

This workshop brings together assessment, formulation, intervention planning, review, and outcome thinking through school-based case examples. It focuses on how participants move from concern to formulation, from formulation to action, and from action to meaningful evidence of change in everyday school life.

Learning outcomes
By the end of this workshop, participants will be able to:

  1. Discuss how assessment, formulation, and intervention connect in school-based case work
  2. Consider how to move from identified need to meaningful goals and practical action
  3. Explore what counts as change in everyday school life
  4. Reflect on how progress is currently understood or measured in their own practice
  5. Leave with stronger confidence in case-based reasoning and outcome planning

Participants will learn it through structured case teaching, discuss it with peers in tutor groups, apply it to school based examples, reflect on outcomes and progress, and take it back into practice through stronger case formulation and review. school-based
