This final step of the learning process is linked to the Sensory Integration for Mental Health and Wellbeing workshop. The short reflective activity that follows offers an opportunity to consolidate and demonstrate your application of the workshop content before certification is issued.
You will be asked to review a brief case example with a pre-completed Sensory Grid, and then respond to a small number of reflective prompts. The task is purposeful, clinically relevant, and designed to take no longer than 15 minutes.
This final activity draws together key elements of practice developed over the three-day workshop, including:
- Sensory-informed clinical reasoning
- Understanding sensory needs in the context of a person’s everyday participation
- Generating intervention ideas that are meaningful, person-centred, and occupation-focused
Thank you for your engagement in this process and for your commitment to developing skilled sensory-informed practice that supports emotional regulation, wellbeing, and occupational participation.
