The ASI Wise pathway supports learning early in a career and creates an affordable route to deeper postgraduate study later. Certificate learners can use additional assessed work to build postgraduate credit through Ulster University, subject to eligibility and university requirements.
For NHS workforce planning, this can support an early-career therapist to build skills for practice, then progress towards PGCert, PGDip or MSc study as their responsibilities and role develop. International therapists who have completed an ICE-ASI accredited programme—or learning assessed as equivalent—may be able to receive recognition of prior learning and top up towards the MSc.
ASI1–ASI3 with CLASI content, applied across the lifespan. The award is a Certificate, not professional certification or automatic status.

For managers and workforce leads
A whole workforce does not need one identical course. Start with the service outcome, identify who needs universal, targeted or specialist capability, then connect learning with implementation, supervision and evaluation.

Learning that continues
Tutor groups support learning during modules. Communities of practice, specialist interest groups, Coffee and Chat, mentoring and supervision help practitioners keep thinking after a course has finished.
Postgraduate learners and experienced practitioners can also connect with research for practice through the Research Community, contribute to shared learning and present work through conferences and professional networks.
