This short neuroscience refresher is designed to help you feel more confident and prepared as you begin your journey into Ayres Sensory Integration (ASI).
We’ll cover the foundational ideas of the central and peripheral nervous systems, key brain structures, sensory pathways, and terms you’ll encounter throughout ASI1 or USI1.
Understanding this material will support your ability to link sensory integration theory to brain function and clinical reasoning.
