This “Playfulness, Trauma & the Senses” infographic highlights the vital role of play in trauma recovery, especially for adults. It shows how play-based activities promote neuroplasticity and healing through Ayres’ Sensory Integration®️ (ASI).
Trauma affects sensory integration and processing, altering the connection between the mind, brain, and body. Let’s change the narrative and recognise the power of Ayres’ Sensory Integration®️ in making everyday life easier.
We created this poster to support therapists in our Trauma Workshop, and we’re sharing it as a free download to help more people.
