Building on foundational research skills developed in OTH814, this 15-credit module supports you in preparing a high-quality research proposal aligned with your practice area. You’ll refine your research question, select appropriate methods, and address ethical considerations in readiness for your final dissertation.

This module is essential for therapists progressing toward the completion of their MSc. You’ll gain confidence in designing a feasible and impactful research study through structured guidance, peer feedback, and tutor support. A vibrant MSc peer group, hosted by ASI Wise, offers ongoing encouragement, collaboration, and shared learning to support your research journey.

Prerequisite: OTH814 – Research Methods in Practice must be completed prior to undertaking this module.
