Sensory Awareness for your whole workforce

One hour. A shared sensory language. Practical support that can begin immediately.

Help staff understand how sensory experiences can influence comfort, participation, communication and everyday life, while keeping clear boundaries around specialist assessment and intervention.

Why it matters

Not everyone needs to be a sensory specialist.

Every person experiences the world through their senses. Yet sensory experiences can easily be missed when we are trying to understand participation, distress, communication, behaviour, learning or everyday support needs.

Sensory Awareness gives whole staff teams an accessible introduction to sensory processing. Staff learn what they can appropriately notice and support within their own role, alongside when occupational therapy or more specialist sensory assessment may be helpful.

Universal sensory awareness, with clear professional boundaries.

This programme does not train people to become sensory integration specialists. It builds a sensory aware workforce that can notice more, respond thoughtfully and recognise when additional expertise is needed.
