Sensory Ladders® Ambassadors
Ambassadors are volunteers and contributors who help Sensory Ladders® travel through language, culture, lived experience and trusted local relationships.

Relationships before reach
Sensory states and everyday metaphors are understood within language, relationships, culture and place. A phrase that feels natural in one community may feel clinical, confusing or unfamiliar in another.
Ambassadors help the project slow down, listen and learn. They bring local questions and knowledge into the work, connect people with free resources and help adaptations remain recognisable, respectful and person-led.
What Ambassadors contribute
There is no single Ambassador role. Contributions grow from local priorities, personal capacity and the needs of each collaboration.

Infectious generosity
Ambassadors offer time, language, relationships and care. The project responds by keeping core learning and paper resources free, crediting contributions and allowing local insight to shape what happens next.
This is reciprocal work. Local communities do not simply receive a finished UK resource. Their reflections reveal what needs to change and help the whole Sensory Ladders® Project keep learning.
A clear boundary
Being a Sensory Ladders® Ambassador is not an Ayres Sensory Integration qualification, a clinical credential or permission to work beyond an individual’s professional scope. Each profile should be read for the contribution it describes.
