About the register and its sources
What an entry records
Each entry links to a distinct public source that mentions Sensory Ladders or a sensory ladder in a relevant practice context. An organisation can appear more than once when separate documents are available. Counts are references, not numbers of services or people using the tools.
A reference does not confirm the version used, how it was introduced, its fidelity, or whether it was co-produced with the person. The original source remains the place to read those details.
Place, practice and context
Locations describe the organisation, event or stated reach recorded in the source. Map pins are approximate editorial overview points and not verified addresses; sources with no supported point are still listed. They do not establish use throughout a country. International language resources are not assigned to countries simply because of their language.
Areas of practice are editorial categories to help people find references. Project publications, contributor material, external sources and commercial resources are labelled separately.
A growing, reviewed collection
This is not an exhaustive inventory. Sources can change or move, and older wording is retained in source titles where useful. Publication dates are shown only where recorded; a source-check date is a separate editorial field.
Please tell us about a missing reference, a moved link or a correction through The Sensory Project help page.

Pins are approximate public town or regional points, not private addresses or proof of local implementation. Broad, online and uncertain project connections have no pin. A project with no assigned location remains as one unpinned connection. Every matching project remains in the register below. On a keyboard, use the arrow keys and + / − within the map.
Language not confirmed means the source describes a team or collaboration without confirming a specific translated edition. It is not a completion status.

Its findings cannot be attributed to Sensory Ladders® alone. Cygnet’s acute and psychiatric intensive care teams document a sensory practice project that includes Sensory Ladders® and Sensory Spiders™. The guide thanks people using the services for their input and records permission from Kath Smith and ASI Wise. The source does not confirm the co-production process for every individual Ladder. | |

Andreja also describes using the tool with people in practice. |

Tell us about a new translation, a practice project, research, shared learning or an update to an existing entry. Early projects are welcome. You do not need a finished publication to start a conversation.
How to read the project map
One project, several connections
A project has one stable ID. Its contributors may work in several countries. Location records can also describe a broad connection without a pin. They are not counted as separate editions.
Sources and stages
These are project and ambassador accounts, not independent evaluations. Status labels describe what is documented. A product page, a translation contribution and a completed learning programme are not interchangeable.
A reviewed, growing record
The collection is not exhaustive. Teams can submit additions or corrections privately. Public wording, contributor credit and location are reviewed before publication. Contact details are never added to the public dataset automatically.
