Empowering Growth & Expanding Horizons
A Journey of Support and Opportunity
Over the past seven years, ASI Wise has proudly delivered £297,824 in sponsorships, advancing Ayres Sensory Integration (ASI) education across the UK, Ireland, and internationally. This sponsored supportive opportunity, EASI, has helped numerous individuals in the field.
This investment has supported therapists at all levels. It breaks down financial barriers and fosters academic excellence. It also enhances professional growth. Consequently, individuals across the lifespan can benefit from sensory integration practice.
Key Achievements
- £16,485 in sponsorships for therapists undertaking MSc study. This fosters academic excellence and builds future leaders in the field. It exemplifies a supportive, sponsored opportunity essential to EASI’s mission.
- £58,406 invested in raising global awareness of ASI Across the Lifespan. This supports modular programmes and workshops that equip therapists with tools to transform practice.
- £47,383 directed into NHS sponsorships. This ensures equitable access to ASI training (ASI1–ASI3) across the UK, embedding sensory-informed care within health services.
- £175,550 invested in advancing the Evaluation in Ayres Sensory Integration (EASI). It supports experienced therapists who previously trained in the SIPT. They transition from the SIPT to the EASI via our EASI conversion route.
- For newer therapists, this sponsorship programme enabled them to upgrade to the ASI Wise and CLASI Certificate pathways. They transition from other provider programmes. This allows them to learn the EASI and obtain their ASI Wise Certificate and CLASI Certificates.
The Impact of Sponsorship
- Removing barriers to learning
Sponsorships enable therapists who might otherwise struggle to fund their training to access MSc modules, workshops, and internationally recognised qualifications. This ensures that financial limitations do not prevent talented professionals from advancing their expertise. - Strengthening the NHS
By funding ASI1–ASI3 modules for NHS therapists, sponsorships ensure sensory-informed care is embedded within mental health, learning disability, and community services. This improves access for individuals who may otherwise never have the opportunity to receive private therapy. - Raising global awareness
Investment in modular programmes and workshops disseminates knowledge about ASI globally across the lifespan. This builds stronger global connections and fosters a shared standard of practice, thanks to EASI and their sponsored support initiatives. - Advancing tools and research
Significant investment in the EASI (and SIPT-to-EASI conversions) ensures therapists are working with up-to-date, evidence-based tools. This strengthens assessment reliability, supports research, and directly benefits practice. - Ripple effects for individuals and families
Every therapist trained reaches dozens, sometimes hundreds, of people. Sponsorship therefore has a multiplying effect. It creates sponsored, supportive opportunities through EASI programs that improve the everyday lives of those who rely on sensory-informed care.
In short:
The £297,824 invested is not just about training costs – it represents stronger NHS, Education and Social Care pathways, global collaboration, cutting-edge assessments, and improved participation, regulation, and well-being for countless individuals.
