Catherine Hauvette is a dedicated and highly experienced Occupational Therapist with over 15 years of clinical experience across South Africa and the UK. She currently works at a specialist SEN school in the UK, where she supports children with complex needs including autism, sensory integration and processing challenges, neurological conditions, and other comorbid and complex conditions.

Catherine began her career in South Africa, working within paediatric and psychiatric services at Chris Hani Baragwanath Academic Hospital, followed by nearly a decade at Delta Park School, a specialised education setting for learners with diverse neurological and developmental needs. There, she provided direct therapy, coordinated student placements, and earned national recognition with a South African National Teaching Award for Special Needs and Inclusive Teaching.

She is an active leader within the Ayres Sensory Integration®️ community, serving on the leadership team for ASI Wise and the Sensory Project. Catherine holds full ASI®️ certification and is a Protocol Marker and Moderator for the C3 ASI Qualification Course through SAISI. Her clinical expertise is complemented by a passion for mentoring, supervision, and service development, and she is committed to delivering inclusive, functional outcomes for every child she supports.
