Join us for an interactive workshop that will be live on Zoom. You will experience a deep dive into how Ayres’ theory and model provide a bridge between changes to the nervous system through trauma and participation in everyday life. This includes exploring how trauma changes the nervous system, and how this can be addressed through the power of the senses. We will explore and blend in recent neuroscience and trauma-informed care concepts. Group work will focus on sensory-rich environments. You will experience case studies and ways of working to create innovative needs-led individual and whole ward programmes to support clients with trauma (with or without other mental health difficulties).Our Mental Health and Wellbeing Workshop is a prerequisite to our 3-Day Ayres Sensory Integration and Trauma Workshop.
